Burley Guiding leaders & 1st Burley Guides were a fantastic help to Sue & Gordon Vint last weekend, who opened their garden to help raise money for the Burley Scout & Guide new Headquarters. It was a glorious day to stroll round, relax & enjoy afternoon teas by the stream & pond in the garden.
Sue Vint said “the guides were kept very busy all afternoon selling cakes, plants & crafts. We were thrilled so many people came to visit & we made a substantial amount for the Scouts & Guides. Thank you to all who came”.
The Open Garden day raised £1,414 for the new Burley Scout & Guide Group new headquarters.
